Traditional Acupuncture
For an acupuncture treatment, very thin needles are inserted into various points on the meridians. This is the most traditional (classic) way of applying acupuncture that has existed for over 400 thousand years. During the treatment, a slight vibration may be felt in the meridians. Generally, after the treatment, a person may feel very relaxed (some may describe it as a drowsy sensation). Typically, about six sessions are needed to experience a significant reduction of symptoms or complete improvement. This mainly depends on the cause and severity of the condition.
Acupuncture also includes auriculotherapy and cranial acupuncture, often applied in combination with moxibustion and cupping. In our acupuncture center, we use acupuncture either alone or in combination with Tui Na massage to treat various conditions: pain, digestive issues, asthma, shortness of breath, sleep disorders, depression, excessive stress, dizziness, mental and physical fatigue, acne, eczema, shingles, decreased libido, infertility, and more.
